She was born in 1986 in Balikesir. After graduating from Balikesir Altıeylul Primary School, she completed her secondary and high school education at Balikesir Sirri Yırcalı Anatolian High School. Having successfully completed her undergraduate education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry between 2004 and 2009, Uzm. Dr. Dt. Ayca Bacaksiz started her academic life as a doctoral student / research assistant in Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Pedodontics (Pediatric Dentistry) in 2010.
During her time at Gazi University, she continued her scientific studies at an academic level as a doctorate and residency student by performing applications on preventive dentistry, dental trauma, tooth deficiency treatments, as well as filling and tooth extraction treatments under general anesthesia and sedation. She received the title of doctor of science with high success in her thesis on "Comparative evaluation of the clinical efficacy and safety of two different office whitening systems" in adolescents between the ages of 18 and 18. In the same year, Pediatric Dentistry Specialization was registered by the Ministry of Health.
