Ismail Sahin

Assoc. Prof. Dr. ISMAIL SAHIN was born in Izmir on January 7, 1974. He graduated from Izmir Bornova Anadolu High School with a Pre bachelor's degree in 1992. Frequently, he won Gulhane army medicine faculty (GATA) and after finishing his study, got doctor title in 1998. Due to his compulsory service, he worked as the 10th Tanker Base Command in Incirlik / Adana as a continental doctor for 2.5 years. In 2001, he started to work as an assistant in the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Gülhane Military Medical Academy and served in the same clinic continuously for 14 years until January 2015, when he left the military with the rank of lieutenant colonel.

He received the title of Plastic Surgery Specialist in 2006, Assistant Professor in 2008 and Plastic Surgery Associate Professor in 2014. Throughout his 14 years of academic life, he saw a large number and variety of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery patients in the field of Plastic Surgery and performed their operations. In addition, he has been involved in experimental and clinical research, trained medical students and assistants, and played a major role in training new colleagues. His articles have been published in national and international journals and he has participated in both national and international congresses as a speaker. During his education, he had the opportunity to work with many valuable faculty members and benefit from their experiences.
In addition to all aesthetic surgery applications, he has advanced experience in Breast Reconstruction, Fat Injection, Microsurgery and Burn, Mastectomy,….
